The basic idea of Vivld was to create a band of x-hight that dances up and down. Forms terminat at the baseline and at the x-hight after a soft curve. The basic round forms have some kind of soft corner that gives the shape an squary feel.
The way how the different strokes deal with space achieve an clear rhythm in text.
It workes well in very small sizes as well as in display. Available are 7 weight with italics from Regular to Ultrabold.
In the standard set the main figures are tabular but with a proportional old style figure set as a feature.
Traditional and stylistic ligatures are also part of the feature set.
