Talk

It is often an adventure to bring unusual treatment into a typeface. It is disturbing the convention of reading. Type designers often talk about legibility as if they really know. Legibility is a much more complex topic than an ideal designed typeface.
Almost impossible to test. Talk plays with convention. It takes away elements and leaves enought for reading. Disturbance does not mean that it will be difficult to read.

The italic is very unusual and dynamic.


But after getting used to, Talk reads quite easy. Now it is a full family with all the weight you will need.



​In the standard set the main figures are tabular but with a proportional old style figure set as a feature.


Traditional and stylistic ligatures are also part of the feature set.
